Julienne Bonacua

Julienne graduated from the University of the Philippines, College of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree, major in violin. In 2012, she was one of the representatives of the Philippines to the World Federation of Amateur Orchestra in Shizuoka, Japan. She was a member of UP Arco and was the principal of the 2nd-violin during their european tour and at the Festival International de Musique Universitaire in Belfort, France. They won the Silver band in the 7th International Youth Music Festival in Slovakia in 2015.  In 2016 they got 1st prize in the 2nd Musica Festa in Florence, Italy.  She represented the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra at the Asia Orchestra Week in Tokyo, Japan. 

At present, she is the 2nd violin principal of the University of the Philippines Symphony Orchestra (UPSO). She also teaches the violin with years of experience. She then pursued Suzuki Training and is now certified.
