Haruo Goto

Haruo Goto started learning the violin at the age of 3 using the Suzuki Method with Shoichi Yamamura. At age 12 he toured the United States of America and Canada as a soloist with the Ten Children Concert Tour Group. At 14  he once again toured as a soloist with the Ten Children Tour Group to Germany, France, Switzerland, England, United States of America, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Peru.

In 1987 he graduated from the Talent Education Institute, Matsumoto, Japan after several years studying under Dr Shinichi Suzuki.

He has been a guest performer at International Suzuki Conferences in Berlin, Hawaii, Japan and Australia and teaches regularly at workshops around Australia, also giving master classes in New Zealand, Japan and Europe. Haruo currently holds the position of Teacher Trainer with the Suzuki Talent Education Association of Australia (NSW) Inc and Pan Pacific Suzuki Association.
